PWM Suntrack: Entry-Level Model for Basic Solar Installations

The Suntrack PWM controllers are entry-level models for small solar energy installations, such as systems for trickle charging and low-power applications. PWM stands for Pulse Width Modulation technology, based on efficient transistors. The “raw” energy generated by the sun is converted by the controller in a single step into a stable charging voltage. This prevents overcharging and ensures a full charge for the battery. This basic controller is available for 10 A and 20 A output current. The charging voltage is adjustable based on the applied battery chemistry.

The Suntrack 50 series is a compact and efficient solution for small to medium-sized off-grid solar energy systems. The WhisperPower Suntrack 50 MPPT Solar Charge Controller connects solar panels to a 12, 24, 36 or 48 VDC battery and quickly and efficiently charges it thanks to advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology. Even in cloudy and variable weather conditions, the system extracts maximum energy and keeps the battery in optimal condition. Standard equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and the Ecosolar monitoring app, allowing real-time data to be easily read and managed.

The Duo series is a versatile battery charger for use in homes, boats, campers, caravans, off-road and commercial vehicles. This fully automatic, multi-stage multi-input charger utilizes both solar energy and an alternator to charge the house battery. The integrated MPPT Solar Controller maximizes solar yield, while the alternator efficiently recharges during engine operation. With two separate inputs, the charger automatically switches between solar energy and engine power without external relays. The battery charger completes a full charging cycle up to the float stage and supports multiple battery types, including GEL, AGM, Flooded, Custom Programmable and Lithium. In the float stage, the charger switches to power mode to support DC loads on board.
