In general, traffic systems used in populated areas operate independently of the grid to keep traffic flowing during local power cuts. This makes traffic control another area for WhisperPower's expertise and product portfolio. As with our security and communications solutions, our solar-based power systems can be supplied with an integrated low-emission Genverter diesel generator. Alternatively, they can be delivered as battery-only systems for 12, 24 or 48 VDC, or 230 V/117 V AC. Each system is available either as a pre-fabricated 'all-in-one' configuration within a weatherproof stainless steel enclosure, or as a series of modules. Power consumption can range from 100 W - 1 kW with batteries and WhisperCare telematics included.
