The WhisperPower Solar Team participated in the first solar boat race of the season. On 27 and 28 May the eighth Dutch Championship Solar Boat Race was held in Akkrum, the Netherlands.
During this race the following components were included in the score: endurance, manoeuvrability and sprint. Despite the strong wind, the team led by Sander Storm took home the third prize. Congratulations!
There is not much time to enjoy, the next races are already on the program and so the team will prepare for the next events:
- The Ultimate Solar Boat Challenge – 23 to 25 June
- De Monaco Energy Boat Challenge – 4 to 9 July
