There are an awful lot of vehicles in the world that have a special mission, including those used in road construction and for the maintenance of sewage systems, for example. WhisperPower has been the leading company for years as a supplier of silent, emission-free power systems for such vehicles.
Together with the North German company Makoben Karosserie-u. Fahrzeugbau GmbH WhisperPower has designed a truly clean and green power system. Recently, a couple of Volvo trucks were equipped with 22 kW battery storage, 3 x 60 A Supreme Pro chargers, a 7 kW AC PowerCube Super inverter with 2 kW solar power on the roof, and a W-SQ 18 Outdoor generator fitted in a stainless steel housing, which is mounted on the frame of the Volvo truck.
As an absolute novelty, the WeVo10 truck is also the first vehicle to be commissioned with the new “OctoPower Cable Assembly”. This is the connection between the truck system and an EV charge wall box, available to charge EV vehicles. This feature enables fast charging of batteries in the street.
